Getting Involved
The participation of our alumni plays an important role in our School community. Alumni are leaders in many ways: as elected officials, public servants, business and industry leaders, educators and health professional, philanthropists and volunteers. The leadership of our alumni is most valued in service to Pope John XXIII High School. This may be serving on a volunteer committee, representing your class as a Class Leader, speaking with students as part of Career Day or by attending alumni events with family and friends. However you choose to get involved, we welcome you!
Committee Volunteers
Dedicated alumni volunteers who work in collaboration with Pope John XXIII High School staff lead a number of fundraising and special event initiatives. The alumni volunteers provide support and assistance in the planning and implementation of special events and lead the efforts to maximize event attendance and giving by alumni and friends. Pope John Alumni Association
Do you want to keep in touch with your old classmates? Do you want to be the first to know all the latest news coming from Pope John? Do you want to help Pope John out by finding "lost" classmates, acquiring class notes, or assisting with alumni events? If you answered "yes" to these questions then the Pope John Alumni Association is for you. Contact Beverly Leonard '72, President of the PJAA for more details!

Classroom Guest Speakers
Faculty members utilize guest speakers, where appropriate, as part of the classroom curriculum. Also, alumni are invited back each year to Career Day to provide guidance and information to the junior class. If you are interested in Career Day please contact Sylvia Hampton at 617-389-0240 ext 15.
