About: Philosophy
As an independent, Catholic, co-educational, college prepatory school we welcome students from all faiths and of diverse backgrounds who share our values and high expectations. It is our goal that:
- our faculty and administrators work in close partnership with our students and their parents to develop individual conscience and character
- our school builds a safe, engaged and responsive learning community through strong school-to-home relationships
- our college oriented curriculum and the co-curricula programs of athletics and activities promotes the intellectual, spiritual, social, moral, and physical well-being of the whole person
- our caring and talented teachers instruct our students to:
- think ethically and act morally
- develop proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills
- analyze and evaluate the intellectual achievements of others
- become independent critical and creative thinkers
- apply scientific research methods in the building and testing of theories
- construct logical and deductive reasoning skills
- develop a global view of the world through distance learning experiences
- demonstrate a technological proficiency in research-based learning
- our school culture develops in each student a respect for the dignity of others and a social responsibility to live a life of service for others, as is exemplified in the Christian scriptures.
